  • Two tablespoons of sofrito.

Step 2: Cook the Carne Molida

  1. Season the ground beef with adobo.
  2. Take a big pan and dump the ground beef onto it.
  3. Turn on the stove and set it on medium heat.
  4. Let the ground beef turn its color to brown.
  5. Now, add sofrito, tomato paste, sazon seasoning, tomato sauce, potatoes, olives, and other herbs onto the pan.
  6. Let it cook on low heat until the ground beef cooks thoroughly. (Wait for the potatoes to be tender as well)
